General FAQs
1. What is micro-needling/needle therapy, and how does it work?
Micro-needling and needle therapy are advanced skin rejuvenation techniques that use fine needles to create micro-injuries in the skin. This process stimulates collagen and elastin production, helping to repair scars, stretch marks, and other imperfections naturally.
2. Is dry tattooing the same as traditional tattooing?
No, dry tattooing does not involve ink or pigment. It focuses on skin regeneration by triggering the body’s natural healing process, improving texture, tone, and elasticity.
3. How long does it take to see results?
Results vary based on the individual and the treated area. Most clients see improvement within 4–6 weeks as new collagen forms. Multiple sessions may be needed for optimal results.
4. Is there any downtime after treatment?
Minimal downtime is required. Redness and slight swelling may occur but typically subside within 24–48 hours. Clients should follow post-treatment care instructions for the best results.
5. Does the procedure hurt?
Discomfort levels vary by individual, but most clients describe the sensation as mild to moderate. A numbing cream is applied beforehand to minimize discomfort.
6. How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions depends on the severity of the concern. Typically, 3–6 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart yield the best results.
Stretch Mark Repair (Stomach, Butt, and Breasts)
7. How does micro-needling help reduce stretch marks?
Micro-needling stimulates collagen and elastin production, helping to repair and smooth out the appearance of stretch marks by promoting skin regeneration.
8. Can stretch marks completely disappear?
While the treatment significantly reduces the appearance of stretch marks, complete removal is not guaranteed. However, the skin will look smoother, more even-toned, and healthier.
9. Will I need maintenance treatments?
Maintenance sessions may be recommended every few months, depending on your skin’s response and lifestyle factors.
Scar Treatment (Surgical Scars, Acne Scars, C-Section Scars, etc.)
10. Can dry tattooing or micro-needling help with old scars?
Yes! Even older scars can improve with treatment as collagen production is stimulated to regenerate and soften scar tissue.
11. Can this treatment help with raised scars or keloids?
This treatment is best suited for flat scars and atrophic (indented) scars. It may not be effective for thick, raised keloids. A consultation is recommended to assess suitability.
12. How soon after surgery can I get treatment on my scar?
It’s best to wait at least 6 months after surgery or until the scar has fully healed before beginning treatment.
Light Facial Rejuvenation
13. How does this treatment benefit my skin?
Light facial rejuvenation improves skin texture, minimizes fine lines, enhances hydration, and boosts collagen for a youthful glow.
14. Is micro-needling safe for all skin types?
Yes, micro-needling is safe for all skin tones and types. However, those with active acne, eczema, or certain skin conditions should consult before treatment.
15. Can I wear makeup after the treatment?
Makeup should be avoided for at least 24 hours to allow the skin to heal properly. Mineral makeup is best when reintroducing cosmetics.
Pre-Treatment & Post-Treatment Care
16. How should I prepare for my appointment?
• Avoid sun exposure, retinol, and exfoliating products 48 hours before your session.
• Stay hydrated and eat a light meal before your appointment.
• Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications to reduce the risk of bruising.
17. What should I expect after treatment?
• Redness, slight swelling, and a mild sunburn sensation for 24–48 hours.
• Skin may feel dry or flaky as it heals.
• Results gradually improve over 4–8 weeks as collagen builds.
18. What post-care instructions should I follow?
• Avoid direct sun exposure and always apply SPF.
• Use gentle, hydrating products and avoid harsh chemicals.
• Refrain from excessive sweating, swimming, or touching the treated area for 48 hours.
